NEW GAS TECHNOLOGY
A safe way to enjoy heating at all times!
Heating while driving is no longer a desire that we can't fulfil ... thanks to another truly innovative idea from Truma.
Truma have developed a new gas technology system called Drive Safe. This system already complies with the European standards, which will apply to new vehicles from 2007 onwards.
The Drive Safe gas regulator is the basis for a safe and convenient gas supply which can be used while driving throughout Europe using country-specific gas hoses. Thanks to an integrated gas flow monitor, it's now possible to operate the liquid gas heater while you are driving.
A hose rupture protection system has been integrated into the high-pressure hoses used with the Drive Safe, preventing gas from escaping inadvertently if a line is damaged. If liquid escapes in an uncontrolled manner (for example because of a pipe break), the integrated gas flow monitor shuts off the gas supply immediately.
Another innovative idea from Truma, is the cleverly thought of DuoComfort. The new automatic changeover valve for use with two-cylinder gas systems effortlessly changes over from the empty operating cylinder to the reserve cylinder as soon as the pressure falls below 0.5 bar. A visual indicator on the regulator shows the status of the operating cylinder, whether it is full or empty.
The DuoComfort can also be used anywhere in Europe because of its country-specific gas hoses, which complies with all directives pertaining to heating while driving.
This clever device allows you to sit back and relax, safe in the knowledge that if your gas supply runs out there will be an automatic changeover of cylinders without you even having to get out of your seat!
