Truma UK have a large onsite warehouse to store product after shipment is received from Germany HQ, where Truma products are manufactured. Once Truma UK receive product, part-assembly to particular product ranges are completed to make the product relative to the UK market. Such amendments allow for products to be tailored specifically to meet the requirements of Manufacturers of the UK industry. Once products have been modified accordingly, the products are packaged and stored ready for shipment across the UK.
When orders are received by the Truma UK Sales team, they are sent down to warehouse where products are ‘picked’ from their allocated storage location, and packed ready for distribution. Truma UK’s lorry fleet transport the product the following day, offering a next day delivery service, so long as the order is placed within Truma UK’s time constraints.
Having a fleet of Truma UK owned lorries allows for reliable and rapid delivery of product, and enables Truma to monitor the efficiency of the dispatch process to look to better improve existing procedures for the benefit of Truma UK’s customers.
