Truma Germany
Truma Germany was founded by post-war pioneer Philipp Kreis in October 1949, Truma has transformed from a gas lamp assembly company into Europe’s leading manufacturer in the field of liquid gas heaters for leisure vehicles and boats. An impressive range of products has emerged during Truma’s 60-plus years of existence, ranging from liquid gas heaters, warm air systems, air conditioning equipment, boilers, manoeuvring systems for caravans, lamps, valves, gas pressure regulators and a wide range of accessories.
Truma’s development includes the acquisition of the Swedish company Alde, which was rich in tradition and had been manufacturing top quality hot water heaters for caravans and mobile homes in Sweden for decades. Truma also established the Truma UK subsidiary after the buyout of Carver, an already recognised business and production line in fire, heaters and caravan movers, to solely serve the UK market. The most recent addition to the Truma group is CALIRA Electronic GmbH & Co. KG, another German company who produce electronic equipment for the automotive and maritime market.
Truma Germany now supply to industry dealers across Europe, including Italy, France, the Netherlands, Poland, with a subsidiary of offices also in the UK.
